Entrepreneurs & Inventors Club Meeting

Florence, WI/Iron Mountain, MI-- “Website Design for Small Businesses” is the featured topic for the Upper Menominee River Entrepreneurs & Inventors Club meeting on Thursday, January 31st, 2008 at the Aurora Town Hall in Aurora, WI from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  The Town Hall is located on the corner of County Roads N and B. 

This month’s Entrepreneur & Inventors Club Meeting features Michael Rock of The Internet Presence and Danita Larson of Oak Hill Internet Design, Inc.  Both Michael and Danita have built up an excellent portfolio of business clients here in our region and in other parts of the country as well.  They will briefly discuss how a website can help grow your small business, what costly mistakes to avoid and how to help customers find your website.  There will be a group question and answer period followed by informal networking time to ask more detailed questions.  Resource people from the sponsoring agencies will be available to ask other business related questions as well.

Come network with other entrepreneurs and area business resource people who can provide you with the information and moral support you need to take the next step toward starting a new business, developing an invention or improving your current business.  The meetings are free and open to the public whether you live in Wisconsin or Michigan.  Free refreshments and informal networking time are provided. Sponsoring agencies include, Florence County Economic Development, Dickinson Area Partnership, Marinette County Association for Business and Industry, Florence and Marinette County - UW Extension, and Dickinson County - MSU Extension.  These agencies provide equal opportunities in employment and programming, including Title IX and ADA requirements.
